Keeping Southside Clean: SSD Deep Cleaning Programme

Did you know that the Southside District (SSD) funds additional street cleaning across the area?

SSD currently invests around £18,000 per year in a specialist cleaning programme delivered by Nordic, which provides eight hours of deep cleaning every month throughout the district. This work goes beyond routine street cleaning and focuses on tackling dirt, grime, and graffiti that regular services may not always remove.

The programme includes deep cleaning of streets and the removal of graffiti from both public and private property, helping to keep Southside looking its best.

This investment is funded by SSD for the benefit of local businesses and the wider community, helping to create a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environment for everyone who lives, works, and visits the district.
