FANCY DRESS GETS YOU FREE COCKTAILS AT GLEE CLUB BIRMINGHAM THIS HALLOWEEN

Comedy fans can bag a free Moth cocktail by bringing their best Halloween looks to Glee Club Birmingham on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October

Fancy a Halloween night out with a difference? Iconic Birmingham comedy venue The Glee Club, which first opened in Birmingham’s city centre in 1994, is serving up a weekend of stand-up, spooky cocktails and plenty of laughs, with a free Moth cocktail for the first 20 people through the door each night who embrace their Halloween spirit.

Whether it’s full on fancy dress, spooky face paint, a creepy mask or just a little Halloween inspired effort, anything goes, as long as it’s got a spooky twist!

Both nights feature four brilliant stand-up comedians, with the same stellar line up across the weekend: Thor Stenhaug, Tom Houghton, Dave Longley and Bethany Black. Expect a night packed with laughs, alongside tasty food and a selection of Halloween themed cocktail specials.

Leading the line-up is the Moth cocktail, a passionfruit martini served with a Halloween twist, with the first 20 people through the door each night who embrace their Halloween spirit bagging one for free.

There are plenty more tricks and treats on the drinks menu, too, including the Crime of Passion, a passionfruit martini garnished with orange and served with a purple sugar rim; Death Becomes Her, mixing amaretto, cherry brandy and cranberry juice; Hex on the Beach, a Malibu, Pimm’s and raspberry syrup concoction topped with lemonade and finished with a jelly eyeball garnish; and the Jack Dee Ripper, blending vanilla vodka, raspberry syrup and lime with lemonade, mint and a lime wedge.

The Friday 30 October show will also be streamed live on NextUp, giving comedy fans the chance to catch all the action beyond Birmingham.

Whether it’s a catch up with friends, a date night or an excuse to show off your best Halloween look, Glee Club is the perfect place to make a night of it, this spooky season. Just remember to arrive early, if you want to bag one of these free cocktails!

Tickets for both shows are available via the Glee Club Birmingham website.
