Get ready for four days of glamour, glitter, outrageous humour and spectacular performances as the Birmingham Drag and Burlesque Festival arrives in the city from 5–8 November 2026!
The first festival of its kind in the UK, this exciting new celebration puts Birmingham firmly in the spotlight, championing the weird and wonderful world of drag and burlesque while celebrating creativity, diversity and self-expression.
Produced by Birmingham's very own ‘Queen of Burlesque’, Dominus Von Vexo, founder of House of Allure, the festival promises a dazzling programme of shows and workshops, bringing together international performers and showcasing the incredible homegrown talent Birmingham has to offer.
From sizzling showgirls and daring drag to comedic clowning and bawdy burlesque, expect cabaret on steroids! Taking place across venues throughout the city, the festival celebrates the performers, venues and creative communities that make Birmingham such a vibrant cultural destination.
And Southside is getting in on the action, with a spectacular show and creative workshops taking place in the district and Birmingham's Gay Village!

The crowning spectacular of the Birmingham Drag and Burlesque Festival!
Step inside the beautiful, historic surroundings of The Old Rep Theatre, with its over 100-year-old floorboards and proud reputation as Birmingham's oldest working theatre, for an unforgettable night of entertainment.
Expect a spectacular celebration of glamour, theatricality and extraordinary talent in one of the city's most iconic venues.
Headdress Making Workshop – Sequin Showstoppers
6, 7 & 8 November | 2pm–4pm each day
Fancy adding a little sparkle to your wardrobe?
Head to Sequin Showstoppers and design and create your very own bespoke statement headdress to take home and treasure.
You'll also be treated to a glass of Prosecco and a fabulous live drag performance, making this much more than just a workshop!
Whether you're a seasoned creative or simply looking to try something new, this is a wonderful opportunity to embrace your creativity and enjoy some festival glamour.
